Induction squirrel gage motor of A4 - Series

A.c. motors with squirell cage rotor of A4 – series (Ruselprom Concern) are designed for machine driving in case the regulation of rotation speed is not required (pumps, fans, smoke exhausters, etc.) and their special modifications are used as a part of adjustable drive for machines.

Motors are manufactured in the following variants:

• with two free shaft ends of equal size
• with stator terminal box located at the left side
• for 3000 V voltage
• for 6300 V or 6600 V voltage (tropical design)
• for 10000 V voltage

On the base of the abovementioned machines, motors for different outputs, voltages, and power frequency can be manufactured taking into account Contract requirements and according to the Customer’s request.

Two successively cold startups and one hot startup are permitted for the motors. Interval between subsequent startups is not less than three hours, number of startups is not less than 10000 within the operation period but not more than 500 startups in one year within guarantee period.

Motors junction with drive mechanism is realized by means of flexible coupling.

Stator winding has six outgoing ends fixed with four isolators in the terminal box. Winding phase connection is star.

Right and left directions of rotation are permitted. Direction of rotation is changed from quiescent mode only.p>

Parameters and distinctive features of A4-series motors

• were developed at LEZ, first time in Russian Federation, in order to replace the series of motors of type A 12-13 size.
• can be installed on the foundations of A-series 12-13 size motors with application of adapter plates, remake of foundations is not required. Plates are supplied as complete package, if required.

• stator winding high-quality insulation system of Monolit 2 type with heat resistance of class F and temperature use according to class B that provides up to 20 years of reliable operation of motors.

• argon-arc welding provides unconditional reliability of rotor winding.
• unification of A4-series allows to change at the place of operation from protected design (IP23) to closed one (IP54) with output reduction by one step.
• seismic resistance and reliability of motors permit their application at nuclear power plant.
• motors manufacturing is certified according to ISO 9001 standard.
