The joint stock company «Tarasov Works Incorporated» is one of the largest producers of autotractor electrical equipment and spare parts for automobile, motor-building and tractor plants. Among company consumers are the giant of motor-car construction automobile Volzhsky plant («AvtoVAZ»), for which we produce all kinds of alternators and starters. Also Gorkovsky («GAZ»), Ulyanovsk («UAZ»), Kamsky («KamAZ»), Pavlovsk («PAZ»), Uralsky («Ural») automobile plants, automobile Zavolzhsky plant («ZMZ»), Ulyanovsky motor plant «Volzhskye motory», Minsky and Vladimirsky tractor plants etc., are connected with JSC «TWI» with stable long-term relations. For more then 70 years JSC «Tarasov Works Inc.» have been manufacturing and supplying autotractor electrical equipment for motor-car, automobile and tractor plants in Russia and abroad.

JSC «TWI» has the full technological complex, providing the manufacture of alternators and starters: blanking, casting, mechanoprocessing, assembling, thermogalvanic manufactures.

JSC «TWI» started manufacturing non-conventional production: components of engine control electrical system — knockmeters of two kinds: narrow-band and broad-band, sensors of control lamp of oil pressure, temperature sensors.

The work process of new articles manufacture is based on use of high-precision and high-performance Russian and imported equipment; use of parts, produced using the powder-pressing methods, permanent magnets and the replacement of cast parts with stamped ones.

Mechanoprocessing manufacture

• The turning of the shafts is accomplished on the automatic lines of hydraulic copying machines, final grinding is carried out on the automated lines «Mikroza» (Germany)
• Aluminum lids and pulleys are handled using modern domestic diamond boring machines as well as imported machines «Lindermaer», «Khonsberg», «Layfeld» (Germany)
• The parts of starter relay drivers are processed using machines with numerical program control and other special equipment

Assembly manufacture

The subassembling and assembling of alternators and starters are carried out using the automatic assembly lines «Bakon'»

• Producing of starters (insulation, winding) is accomplished using modern equipment by «PAVESi» (Italie), «Statomat» (Germany)
• Dynamic balancing of alternator rotors and starter anchors is carried out on semi-automatic devices «KARL-Schenk»

Pressing manufacture

Work process is elaborated conformably to the conditions of the large-scale manufacture taking into consideration the latest achievements in the area of sheet metal stamping, hot and cold extrusion, upsetting:

• The alternator stator pack production is carried out on the automatic line «Raketo» (Italy)
• The starter case is carried out on the automatic line «OMCG» (Italy)
• Automatic presses «AIDA» (Japan), KB-630, KB-1000 «Schuler» (Germany)
